The MHS Guidance Department consists of 2 Licensed School Counselors: Mrs. Rode takes care of students A-K and Mrs. Behm has students L-Z. If you’d like to make an appointment to see your counselor, see our secretary, Mrs. Watts, in the main office. She will schedule your appointment and will send your pass to your class.

Mrs. Rode is a graduate of  Cleveland State University where she obtained her Bachelors in Education, and John Carroll University, where she earned her Masters Degree in Education, and a license in School Counseling. Mrs. Behm, an alumni of Bowling Green State University where she received her Bachelors in Elementary Education, 1-8 and John Carroll University, where she also earned a Masters Degree in Education, and a license in School Counseling.

Mrs. Rode and Mrs. Behm are a great team and enjoy working together to help students succeed and reach their goals. Topics they can help with are academic concerns, college information, testing, community agency referrals and counseling issues. They encourage you to get involved in the school community and join a club or organization to help make MHS a better place! Please refer to your student handbook for questions or concerns you may have regarding all school related information.
