Community Update, December 13

Angela Smith, Superintendent

December 13, 2022

Dear Madison Community,

I hope this update finds you well and celebrating all the season has to offer.  I need to make a correction from my last update.  The Madison High School Choirs will be performing tomorrow evening Wednesday, December 14, 2022 and the Madison High School Bands will perform on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. Both concerts are in the MHS gymnasium. I apologize for any confusion this might have caused.

We are in the home stretch of the car raffle drawing.  The drawing is scheduled for tonight during half-time at the Madison-Kenston basketball game.  Funds from this raffle will be used for improvements to our athletic complex. We have sold, as of this writing, over 3,372 tickets.  Tickets will be available during the game tonight up until half-time.  Thank you again for the generosity of the Chevy Network Dealers and Classic Chevrolet of Madison for supporting our community, as well as everyone who has purchased tickets and supported this raffle.

Please remember, there is no late arrival next week. Bus routes will run Tuesday morning at the normal time for middle and high school students.  Middle school students will arrive at the normal time. The high school will be on an exam schedule Tuesday and Wednesday next week, and Mr. Brady will be sending out information regarding the particulars of the schedule.

And please check out today’s Good News Newsletter – this edition features our Treasurer’s Office Staff, the five-year forecast, and our high school students learning about STEM with NASA at Cleveland State University.

I hope you have a wonderful week.  We will have our final update for 2022 next week.

Sincerely,

Angela Smith

Superintendent
