MHS + MMS share music with the community

Choirs

With the holidays right around the corner, our High School and Middle School music programs have been sharing their talents making beautiful music for our students, staff, and community! MLS is proud to encourage and foster students in the creation of music of all forms, and even more proud when those students choose to share what they’ve learned back with us. From concerts to caroling around the school, our bands and choirs have been staying busy.

At the High School, our Choirs and Bands recently had their annual holiday concerts. The Choirs performed on Wednesday, December 14, and theBands held their concert in the gymnasium on Tuesday, December 20. We were blown away with the talent we saw in each of the ensembles, and impressed with how much work and dedication all involved students put forth to create something beautiful.

The Madison Middle School Choir performed on Tuesday, December 13, in the Middle School gymnasium. The gym was packed with excited parents, guardians, friends, and more as our students dazzled all with not only their voices, but their dancing moves! But that’s not all our music students did at the Middle School – students also took to the halls of MMS this week to share some Christmas carols! The 7th grade band also played through all three lunches on Ugly Sweater Day, spreading their good music and cheer for all our Middle Schoolers.

We are so impressed with our music students and can’t wait to see what they do in the Spring – but for now, enjoy these photos of our students in action.
