Madison student wins two scholarships at LEAF Umbrella Design Contest

Congratulations to student Pauline Forman, who won two scholarships from the LEAF Umbrella Design Contest! Pauline won 1st place in the Fine Arts Division and was chosen as the Fine Arts Choice Award Winner for her umbrella, “I AM WOMAN.” In total, Pauline won $1,500 for her umbrella design and creation. 


“I am incredibly proud of Pauline and her project, ‘I AM WOMAN,’” states Angela Smith, Superintendent. “Not only did she do a beautiful job, but the message she is communicating with the world is a prominent one we are seeing all around us.” 


LEAF has been serving the students and families in Lake and Geauga County for more than 29 years, providing information, inspiration, and motivation for students to navigate the education process beyond high school.
