Congratulations to our newly-graduated Class of 2023! Our alumni were celebrated at Commencement this past weekend in the Madison High School Gym. This was the first year since COVID-19 that Madison was able to host Commencement back on our home turf, making this event even more special for our graduates.

179 students graduated from Madison High School, which is an historically small class for MHS. Madison Local Schools is extremely proud of the Class of 2023 and was thrilled to be able to celebrate their success with family and friends.
Principal Tom Brady states, “A culmination of 13 years of schooling is a big deal for the students to finally earn a diploma, and it’s very important for these graduates’ parents, grandparents, siblings, cousins, and more to see them graduate. It truly is a big deal.”
Over half intend to continue their educational journey, with 35% of them attending four-year colleges and 20% pursuing a two-year degree at a community college. Others are headed for the work world, and we wish them the best as they embark on their careers!
We love getting to celebrate the hard work and myriad accomplishments of our students, and we look forward to seeing what the Class of 2023 accomplishes outside of our district. Good luck, Class of 2023 – congratulations on your new alumni status!
