Late arrival at the Madison Middle School and Madison High School starts September 21, 2021. Students can be dropped off at 8:50 and classes will begin at 9:00 at both buildings. Bus routes for grades 6-12 will be an hour later; if you have questions about late arrival specific to your child, please contact the building principal. The elementary start time will remain the same. At all three levels, our teachers will be meeting to look at ways to improve instruction for our students - they will be looking at data, and ways to maximize our resources to really help our students achieve.
I have attached a letter from Dr. Michael Baker from Eye Doctors of Madison offering eye care to students in need as well as a flier for a Drive Thru School Market sponsored by the Painesville City Schools’ Family Resource Center. These opportunities provide much needed resources for our community. I appreciate the partnership with Dr. Baker and his generosity in helping our students be successful in school. The Drive Thru School Market is scheduled for next Friday, September 24 and is open to all Lake County residents.
As the nation celebrates Constitution Day, it is an important time to reflect on the longevity of our Constitution and the rights it affords all of us. Our students at all levels study this important document. Today at South Elementary, they hosted a very special Constitution Day program - one of the first public programs we have had since the pandemic began. Thank you to all who made the program a success! I hope you have a wonderful weekend and enjoy this late summer weather. #WeAreMadisonBlue #MadisonStrong!
