This week was PBIS’s Extra Degree of Effort Week at Madison High School. Our PBIS model is STREAK: Safety, Teamwork, Responsibility, Effort, And Kindness, and this event week is focused on the “E,” Effort.
All of PBIS is aimed to make MHS a better place for all students, and the Extra Degree of Effort Week is about celebrating students who show Effort that goes beyond expectations. Each day of the week, students will have a lesson or goal to improve their Effort by even one degree to make a difference, including learning history from Mr. Willis, MHS’s Health & P.E. teacher, solving the boxcar puzzle, showing spirit, and more.
Madison Local Schools is proud to put our Effort into teaching students how one small gesture can make the biggest difference.
