Description:

This class is designed to further develop and explore the medium of painting as an art form. Students will combine an understanding of the basics of drawing with the principles of art and design with the focus on painting techniques and color.

The Course will provide opportunities for students to explore and develop skills working with the mediums of watercolor, tempera, acrylic and oil paints.

  • Class Folder

    Each student will create and maintain a Painting Class Folder. This folder will contain notes, practice drawings, practice paintings and rough drafts.

    For each grading period, the folder will be collected and graded based on specific assignment that will be due at each grade period.
