Activities for the week will include:

1)  OAA Test in Reading will be on Monday.

2)  A building-wide Math Prep Day will be on Tuesday.

3)  OAA Test in Math will be on Wednesday.

4)  On Thursday we will begin a new novel, The Black Stallion.  Various reading/writing

     skills will be practiced including vocabulary in context;  literary elements of setting,

     character, plot, theme, and tone/mood;  figurative language; and writing with

     conventions of standard English (capitalization, punctuation, and spelling).
