Activities for the week will include:

1.  Continuation of the novel The Black Stallion.  Various reading/writing skills

     will be practiced including vocabulary in context; the literary elements of setting,

     character, plot, theme, and tone/mood;  figurative language;  and writing with

     conventions of standard English (capitalization, punctuation, and spelling).

2.   Class Meetings for the Anti-Bullying Program will take place on Tuesday.

3.   Library Day is also on Tuesday.  Students will  choose two new books and

      should continue to be reading at least 10 pages per day.
