Activities for the week will include:

1)  Continuation of the novel The Black Stalllion and related reading/writing

      activities.  Skills being focused on include vocabulary in context; the literary

      elements of setting, character, plot, theme, and tone/mood; figurative language;

      and writing with conventions of standard English (spelling, capitalization, & punctuation).

2)  Literacy Strategies will include a "Take Two" writing activitiy, Vocabulary Word Map,

      Story Map Form, Storyboard, and a 3-2-1 Strategy.
