  4. Students will be able to list and define the six major nutrients.

  5. Students will be able to describe the importance of following the guidelines in the pyramid.

  6. Students will be able to explain the importance of a healthful breakfast.

  7. Students will be able to plan healthful meals as well as healthful snacks.

  8. Students will be able to label the digestive System.

  9. Students will be able to describe how long the Digestive Track is.

Skeletal Unit Plan

 

Unit Objectives:

  1. Students will be able to identify bones in the human body.
  2. Students will be able to label a skeleton.
  3. Students will be able to explain how many bones are in an infant and how many bones an adult has.
  4. Students will be able to explain why one is more than the other.
  5. Students will be able to identify the 4 different types of joints.
  6. Students will be able to give examples of the four different types of joints.
  7. Students will be able to name the three types of connective tissues.
  8. Students will be able to identfy the 5 functions of the skeletal system.
  9. Students will be able to identify bones on an X-Ray
